While the stakes have never been higher as Supernatural moves closer to its series finale, the series still brings fun, comedic callbacks to its own extensive history.

As Sam and Dean Winchester investigate a toothy monster hunting campers out in the wilderness, the brothers decide to utilize their pseudonyms as Agents Mark Hamill and Dean Ford to gain access to additional information.

While the two look over their old fake identification cards, Dean notes he hasn't changed at all since they first obtained the false personas and that Sam has grown visibly older than his baby-faced appearance years ago. However, Dean's enthusiasm is tempered when a park ranger reviewing his ID is initially unable to recognize him.

The long-running gag is a direct nod to Star Wars actors Mark Hamill and Harrison Ford, utilized whenever the two need to pose as law enforcement officials; in this case, as officers from the U.S. Wildlife Service investigating grisly attacks apparently caused by a mountain lion.
