Titan Comics has announced that they will soon publish comics based on "SuperMansion," the stop-motion animation comedy series streaming on Crackle. The all-new comic series is expected to debut in early 2017.

"'SuperMansion' has it all; playful, yet acerbic commentary on the superhero genre, a group of bungling caped crusaders called The League of Freedom and that age old struggle to stay relevant in a changing world!" said editor David Leach in Titan's press release. "Titan are thrilled to be publishing 'SuperMansion' comics and promise to bring the same level of wit, and humor to our series, or my name isn't Jefferson McMinty."

The animated series "SuperMansion" stars Bryan Cranston as the voice of the crusty, crotchety, old-time superhero Titanium Rex, who leads a more-than-a-little dysfunctional team of super-roommates. The series -- which comes from "Robot Chicken" team members Seth Green, Zeb Wells and Matt Senreich -- also features the voice talents of Seth Green, Jillian Bell, Keegan-Michael Key and Chris Pine.

In addition to his work on "Adult Swim," "SuperMansion" co-creator and executive producer Zeb Wells has a lengthy history with comics. Wells enjoyed runs on Marvel Comics like "Amazing Spider-Man," "New Mutants" and "Nova." "I'm excited to get back into the world of comics with Titan and the characters we created for 'SuperMansion,'" said Wells. "It's going to be a wild ride and I can't wait to get started!"

The second season of "SuperMansion" from Stoopid Buddy Stoodios will debut on Crackle in early 2017.
