A few new details about "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" have already been revealed today by costume designer Michael Wilkinson, whose on camera chat at Brazil's CCXP convention included information about Batman's unmasking scene and the Flash. Another detail has emerged about the film, specifically regarding the new supersuit that Superman will take flight in.

While designing Superman's suit "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice," Wilkinson explained that director Zack Snyder wanted to incorporate a quote from influential writer and mythologist Joseph Campbell into the look. The quote Snyder chose was, "Where we had thought to stand alone, we will be with all the world."

"We decided to translate that into Kryptonian and we decided to put that on the 'S' on his chest, through his cuffs, his belt, through his bicep, just to give a little extra something for the fan with very sharp vision to appreciate," said Wilkinson. He added, "With the Superman costume we have a new material. The suit is a little bit more shear so you really get the sense of this metal undercut coming through the blue oversuit... Every time you do a character you get the opportunity to make them even more compelling and exciting."

He also noted that he's begun production on the two-part "Justice League" film and will be in London working on it for the "better part of a year -- six months of prepping, six months of shooting." You can see his interview below, beginning at 49:56.
