"Superman Unchained" #6 cover by Jim Lee, scheduled out in December.

DC Comics has confirmed to CBR News that the absence of writer Scott Snyder and artist Jim Lee's high-profile "Superman Unchained" in the publisher's January 2014 solicitations is due to the series skipping that month.

Earlier this month, it was revealed that Snyder and Lee's first "Superman Unchained" story would run for nine issues. Snyder later clarified that the arc would be nine to 10 issues, with the book continuing after that point -- and added that it's yet to be determined if he and Lee will remain on the title, or if another creative team will join the series. "Superman Unchained" #6 is scheduled for release on Dec. 18.

Additionally, DC has confirmed that both "Katana" and "Justice League of America's Vibe" will wrap with their respective issues #10, both scheduled out in December. This is in addition to "The Green Team: Teen Trillionaires" ending in January with issue #8.

"Katana" and "Vibe" each started in February as part of DC's fourth wave of New 52 launches, and companion titles to the current volume of "Justice League of America." Their final solicitations follow:
