"Ninja Assassin" director James McTeigue, sometimes rumored to helm a new Superman film, tells MTV News the project is in a "weird place."

Several sites, including Comingsoon.net are reporting an announcement in Variety of the actors chosen to play the Warrirors Three: Stuart Townsend, Ray Stevenson, and Tadanobu Asano. Unfortunately, the Variety article was removed from the site. This could indicate severe inaccuracy. UPDATE: Marvel is now confirming the casting, stating "Fandral will be played by Stuart Townsend. The job of Hogun goes to Tadanobu Asano. And Volstagg will be portrayed Ray Stevenson."

According to Bloody Disgusting, writer Stephen Susco has been tapped to write a new draft of the film. Susco previously wrote the US adaptation of the "The Grudge."

Zoe Saldana tells Comingsoon.net her character, Aisha, is "a blend of Uhura and Neytiri." Neytiri is her "Avatar" character. "Toss in a couple of guns and some tattoos - she's really badass. At times I was kind of afraid of her. I don't know why it's a PG-13 movie to be honest."
