HBO Max has revealed the television series and movies arriving on the streaming service in March, which includes a high-definition version of Superman: The Animated Series.

The month of March marks the first time Superman: The Animated Series will be available to stream on HBO Max. Other comic book content debuting on HBO Max in March includes 1998's Blade, 2005's Constantine and Zack Snyder's Justice League. Comic book series and movies leaving HBO Max in March include 2019's Shazam! and 1998's Batman & Mr. Freeze: Sub Zero.

Developed by Warner Bros. Animation and debuting on Kids' WB in 1996, Superman: The Animated Series ran for three seasons and a total of 54 episodes. It starred Tim Daly as Clark Kent/Superman, Dana Delany as Lois Lane, David Kaufman as Jimmy Olsen and Clancy Brown as Lex Luthor. Superman: The Animated Series followed in the footsteps of Batman: The Animated Series. Superman and Batman would later join the Justice League and Justice League Unlimited animated series as part of a connected DC Animated Universe.

Some other DC animated series currently available to stream on HBO Max include Batman BeyondTeen TitansYoung Justice and Green Lantern: The Animated Series.

Superman: The Animated Series debuts March 17 on HBO Max.
