Superman Homepage is the first to check in with a look at Kevin Spacey as Lex Luthor and Parker Posey as Kitty Koslowski, direct from the set in Australia -- thanks to Hector Lima for aiming us at that one. There's also actual footage (Windows Media only) of what was shot, and photos of Metropolis vehicles here, here and here.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, "Veteran producer Mark Gordon has teamed with music producer Pharrell Williams, World Events Prods. and producers Mark Costa and Ford Oelman to make a big-budget feature of the 1980s giant robot kids TV series and toy sensation." The Lion Voltron is the planned subject of the project.

Kryptonsite has fresh spoilers about the title of the season's fifth episode.

As well, due to extreme intoxication, we incorrectly listed guest star James Marsters (i.e. Spike from "Buffy") as James Marsden (i.e. Cyclops from "X-Men") for playing the role of a "brainy" supervillain this season. Our apologies, and thanks to the numerous emails for pointing it out.

Oh, speaking of, producer Al Gough talked about the DCU ties coming into the series this season. Sci Fi Wire, "[Marsters is] a wonderful actor beyond being Spike, so I think he'll bring all of that to the role. We've talked about it, and what's nice is, he's going to be one of Clark's college professors. ... It's more of the grand seduction of Clark Kent rather than someone coming in and them throwing each other around. And I think James is really up for the challenge."

Peter Parker, clothes horse? According to Comics Continuum, costume designer James Acheson said they'll be making even more Spidey suits for the third sequel. "The first movie we had 28, somebody stole 4 of them, and on the second movie 35. This present movie will be 40 ... and it's growing all the time," Acheson said.
