While Quesada has done plenty of work for DC in the past, he has been synonymous with Marvel Comics for the past decade-plus -- and is even credited with helping to save the company from financial ruin in the late 1990s and early 2000s. In 1998, Quesada and frequent collaborator Jimmy Palmiotti launched the fabled Marvel Knights imprint. Two years later, Quesada was named Marvel's Editor-in-Chief, a position he held until 2011. After stepping down, Quesada began serving as Marvel's Chief Creative Officer. However, he officially parted ways with the House of Ideas in mid-2022. Later that year, he re-joined the Distinguished Competition as a cover artist.
