The Superman & Lois pilot also is the best-rated 2021 premiere on The CW, garnering a 0.76 rating over seven days with adults under the age of 50. Its one-day viewership attracted the most viewers for The CW since 2019's "Crisis on Infinite Earths, Part Three," The Flash installment of the Arrowverse crossover with Supergirl, Batwoman, The Flash and Legends of Tomorrow.

Superman & Lois is a spinoff of Supergirl, presenting Clark Kent and Lois Lane as parents of athletic and gregarious son Jonathan and his moody, anxious fraternal twin brother Jordan, forging new lives in Kent's hometown of Smallville. Tyler Hoechlin first appeared as Superman/Clark Kent in Season 2 of Supergirl, and Elizabeth Tulloch was introduced as Lois Lane in the Supergirl installment of 2018's "Elseworlds" crossover with The Flash and Arrow.

Superman & Lois stars Tyler Hoechlin, Elizabeth Tulloch, Dylan Walsh, Alex Garfin, Jordan Elsass, Emmanuelle Chriqui, Inde Navarrette and Wolé Parks. The series airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET/PT on The CW.
