When Arrow first premiered, no one could have foreseen the reach, it would have. The show became its own universe, better known as Arrowverse. The newest edition to the Arrowverse is set to star one of DC Comics' biggest couples. Lois Lane and Clark Kent will take to the screen accompanied by their twin sons, Jordan and Jonathan Kent.

Superman & Lois is bound to feature many of Superman's enemies and comic book allies. Superman may end up having to fight some of the same enemies that his cousin, Supergirl, already defeated. His family will undoubtedly have to face their share of ups and downs.

10 Krypto The Superdog Because He Would Be The Perfect Addition To The Family

Krypto The Superdog stands over a fallen Superboy

In some ways, a family isn't complete without a dog. Superman's super dog would be a perfect addition to the family. Krypto is often depicted as a golden retriever and is heavily associated with Superman.

Krypto's original backstory was that he was from the planet Krypton and has similar powers to any Kryptonian. In his civilian identity, Krypto has used many names over the years. Most recently, he has used the name Pal.

9 Jimmy Olsen Because He Was Shown To Be Good Friends With Clark Kent In Supergirl

Jimmy Olsen

Jimmy is already a part of the Arrowverse. He played a big role on the show, Supergirl, where he was briefly involved with the title character. He was shown to be good friends with Clark Kent.

He would be an obvious choice to be included in Superman's new show. His inclusion would provide some sense of cohesion between the shows. He could appear using Guardian's heroic identity, or a rewritten version of the character could appear.

8 Lobo Because He's The Perfect Nemesis For A Clean-Cut Superhero Like Superman

Lobo Appears As A Villain In DC

Lobo has been a villain and an anti-hero in DC Comics. He would be the perfect antithesis of the usually clean-cut Superman. Like Superman, Lobo isn't a native of earth. He was born on the planet Czarina.

Like Superman, he has superhuman strength and speed. Like Batman, he is skilled in hand-to-hand combat. Some fans consider him immortal do his amazing ability to heal himself. Lobo would make a tough enemy for Superman to defeat or an ally he would probably have a strained relationship with.

7 Bizarro Because It Would Be Interesting To See A Different Version Of Him

Bizzaro

A Bizarro version of Supergirl has already appeared in the Arrowverse. It would still be interesting to see a Bizarro version of Superman. The character is a clone of Superman, typically created by Lex Luthor. He has a similar power set to Superman himself.

It would be interesting to see Superman's sons have to fight against a twisted version of their father or see Superman have to fight a version of himself. Since Bizarro has sometimes become a hero in his own right, it might be interesting to see a character's redeemed version.

6 Lana Lang Because She Would Bring A Touch Of Romance

Superman walks with Lois Lane and Lana Lang

Lana has already been confirmed to make an appearance on the show. She is being played by Canadian actress Emmanuelle Chriqui. It isn't much known about this version of Lana, but she is married with one daughter.

It will be interesting to see who Lana has become. She may not know about the Kent family's association with superheroes. There is a chance she is still in love with her high school sweetheart, Clark. There have been many comics showing Lana still pining for her old flame.

5 The Joker Because He Would Make An Excellent Villian For Superman

The Joker

Superman's own arch-nemesis is supposed to be serving out a prison sentence. This legal trouble could make it difficult to have him stay on the show for any length of time. However, the main villain will bring fans screaming for more.

The Joker could make an excellent villain for Superman. The evil, the insane clown, has been pitted against the Man of Steel before. In Emperor Joker, it was up to Superman to defeat the overpowered clown. In the Injustice universe, the Joker created such a twisted version of superman.

4 Multiverse Clark Kent Because It Would Be Great To See A Different Version Of The Man Of Steel

Clark Kent Superman Action Comics

Arrowverse has already revealed itself to be part of a larger multiverse. An alternate version of Clark Kent could easily make an appearance. There could be a reappearance of established versions of the character or a version that has yet to be seen.

There have been a lot of versions of Superman introduced in the comics. He has been oblivious, uncontrollable, and even evil. A dark version of Superman could be introduced to upset the Kent family's lives. The Flashpoint or Injustice version of Superman could be converted into an interesting character for the show.

3 Lucy Lane Because It Would Be Great To See Her Character Fleshed-Out

Superman & Lois Lucy Lane

A version of Lois's little sister has already made an appearance in the Arrowverse. While Lucy hasn't played a major role in comics, the show really fleshed out her character. Lucy's character hasn't been seen for quite a while, so it would be interesting to see her brought back. She admits that she never really got along with Lois.

Like her father Sam, the Arrowverse version of Lucy went into the military. She is an accomplished woman who is a Harvard graduate and briefly ran the D.E.O. She was, at one point, involved in a relationship with Jimmy Olsen. It would be nice to see Lucy trying to connect with her sister, brother-in-law, and nephews.

2 Damian Wayne Because He's A Staple To The DC Universe

Damian Wayne

One of Jonathan Kent's best friends in comics is Damian Wayne. Though the Arrowverse has been reluctant to include Batman, his son would be an interesting addition to the show.

Damian could be introduced as one of the twins' friends from school. His fighting skills and brilliance could add to the twins' ability to be heroes. Damian's personality and demeanor could make Superman disapprove of the friendship. He seems to disapprove of the friendship in the comics initially.

1 General Zod Because He's One Of Superman's Most Well-Known Adversaries

General Zod, Ursa, and son, Lor-Zod

General Zod is one of Superman's best-known enemies. He is a supergenius with all of Superman's powers in the comics. The character makes an appearance on Supergirl, but only briefly. He could be reintroduced on Superman & Lois as a major villain for the Man of Steel.

As a Kryptonian, he would make a tough enemy for Superman to defeat. Introducing an evil version of his son could also make an interesting addition to the show. Father and son could team up against Superman and Superman's sons.
