Despite being known as the "Last Son of Krypton", Superman is one of many characters that managed to survive the destruction of their home planet. Kryptonians are often seen as some of the most powerful characters in the DC Universe, and for good reason.

When exposed to Earth's yellow sun, they gain a multitude of awesome powers, like super speed, super strength, invulnerability, super breath, heat vision, and tons more. Superman is obviously the most well known Kryptonian, but there are many different versions, some part of the Super fam and others enemies of it. So which character matches up with each Zodiac sign? Find out in the list below!

12 ARIES: Supergirl

Known as the "Last Daughter of Krypton", Supergirl was born in raised in Argo City, a small part of Krypton that Brainiac had collected before the planet's demise. When he came back to destroy her home, Supergirl was sent in a rocket to Earth, where she became a famous superhero alongside her cousin, Kal-El.

Aries are often described as optimistic, confident, and courageous, and these traits describe Kara Zor-El very well. She's always got a smile on her face and is always willing to help someone in need.

11 TAURUS: Krypto

While being reliable, dependable, and loyal are traits that every good dog has, they're also the traits of Taurus, and Krypto is obviously a really good dog. Krypto was transported in a rocket as a test before Kal El was sent off, but after it was veered off course, he landed on Earth by the time Clark was a teenager.

Krypto was trained by Clark like a normal dog, but eventually he showed the same Kryptonian abilities that they all share. Superboy began living in Smallville to try and live a life similar to how Clark was raised, and he was given Krypto to take care off, and the two shared a close bond.

10 GEMINI: Power Girl

The Earth-2 version of Kara Zor-El, Power Girl took over her cousin's spot in the Justice Society of America following his retirement. When Earth-2 was destroyed during the events of Crisis on Infinite Earths, she somehow survived, and went to live on Earth 1, believing she was actually an Atlantean. Her true identity was revealed during Infinite Crisis, and she joined the Justice Society of Earth 1.

The Gemini is the sign of the twins, and Kara trying to balance her two origins and the two worlds she calls home makes her the best match for Gemini.

9 CANCER: General Zod

General Zod with lightning striking behind him in DC Comics.

Cancers are typically loyal, protective, and vindictive, and Jor-El's archenemy fits these qualities very well. Dru-Zod was a former Kryptonian general who was tried for treason in the days before Krypton's demise.

He and his allies were banished to the Phantom Zone, which unknowingly saved their lives from Krypton's destruction. After escaping, he journeyed to Earth and became a villain to the Man of Steel, as well as a brief member of the Suicide Squad.

8 LEO: Superboy Prime

DC Comics' Superboy-Prime flying and screaming in anger.

The original Superboy, he shares the same origin as Superman, except he landed on a world similar to ours, where superheroes were fictional characters from comic books. In fact, when he was found by his adoptive parents, they named him Clark because he came in a ship just like Superman. Eventually he and Superman crossed paths, but Superboy became insane when he found out his home planet had been destroyed during the crisis.

One of the most powerful supervillains of all time, Prime is arrogant, domineering, and demands to be at the center of attention, which are all negative traits of Leos.

7 VIRGO: Nightwing

Chris Kent as Nightwing in DC Comics

No, not Dick Grayson. Nightwing and Flamebird were two classic superheroes of Krypton, and Lor Zod is the second person to take on this name. The son of General Zod and Ursa, he was born in the Phantom Zone, where his father managed to send him out in a rocket to Earth. When Lor landed, he was adopted by Lois and Clark, and took on the name Chris Kent. After his parents escaped, Lor teamed up with Superman against his father, deciding to use his Kryptonian powers for good.

His reliability, patience, and kindness set him apart from his father, and lets him fit into the Virgo sign.

6 LIBRA: Jor El

Jor-El reveals his identity to Lois Lane in Superman: Rebirth comics

The greatest scientist of Krypton, Jor El definitely fits the traits of Libra, as he is diplomatic and fair-minded. Jor-El is Superman's father, who until extremely recently was thought to have died on Krypton.

He was transported out at the very last second by Doctor Manhattan, and traveled to Earth under the name Mister Oz. When he revealed himself to his son, it took a lot of convincing, but he eventually earned the trust of the Man of Steel. Jor El took his grandson, Jon Kent, to explore the universe together.

5 SCORPIO: Superboy

Superboy was a genetic clone created by the DNA of Superman and Lex Luthor. From Superman, he gets his bravery, loyalty, and honesty, but the Luthor in him brings out his stubbornness and controlling personality, which are all Scorpio traits.

Created by Project Cadmus, he was supposed to serve as a replacement of Superman when the latter died at the hands of Doomsday. Superboy served as Superman until the real one returned, then became a founding member of Young Justice.

4 SAGITTARIUS: President Superman

President Superman hails from Earth 23, where he was rocketed to space and found by the Ellis family. He was taught to stand up for himself no matter what, and became Superman when his powers finally kicked in. As the President of the United States, Ellis uses his powers and intelligence to make the world a better place in more ways than one. He's also one of the Supermen brought to the House of Heroes during the Multiversity event.

His caring, generous, and idealistic attitude makes him fit well with the Saggitarius.

3 CAPRICORN: Jon Kent

Jon Kent is the current Superboy, and is the son of Superman and Lois Lane from the Post-Crisis continuity, or in simpler terms, the DC Universe before Flashpoint happened. Capricorn are ambitious, independent, and persistent, which is apparent when Jon leaves the Kent farm to fight crime with Robin.

The two were the new dynamic duo known as the Super Sons, but unfortunately, Jon's travels with his grandfather have caused him to age up, now being years older than his best friend.

2 AQUARIUS: Eradicator

Cold, intelligent, and unpredictable, of course the robot on the list would fit into the Aquarius spot. The Eradicator is an ancient Kryptonian weapon who came to Earth to fill the spot of Superman the same way Superboy did.

Eradicator created a new body using the Kryptonian healing matrix, and became a vigilante, much more violent than Kal El ever was. Insistent on preserving Kryptonian culture, he sees Jon Kent as a taint on Krypton's legacy, and was taken down by the father son duo.

1 PISCES: Superman

Superman Man of Tomorrow feature 1

There probably isn't a person in the world who doesn't know who Superman is, and for good reason. As one of the first and easily most prominent superheroes, Superman created a legacy and inspired thousands of fictional characters since his debut in 1939.

As a joke for Superman obviously never aging in real time, DC editor Julius Schwartz confirmed that Superman's birthday was February 29th, as he would theoretically only age a year for every four years. This makes him a Pisces, and with their classic traits of compassionate, intuitive, and hatred of cruelty fits the Man of Steel extremely well.
