Joshua Williamson has been one of DC's' busiest writers over the last year. After kicking off a new era for the DC Universe with Infinite Frontier #0 in March 2021, he has penned Infinite Frontier, Robin, Deathstroke Inc., Justice League Incarnate, Batman, Shadow War, "Death of the Justice League," and more. His work culminated in the Dark Crisis on Infinite Earths series pitting DC's legacy heroes against a great evil in the Justice League's absence. Williamson is about to add another ongoing series to his bibliography, focusing on one of DC's biggest heroes ever: Superman.

Announced during "DC's Superman Panel" at New York Comic Con 2022, Williamson will be writing a brand-new, ongoing Superman series drawn by Jamal Campbell. At the convention, CBR sat down for a one-on-one interview with Williamson to talk about the new title. The writer teased the series' first arc, fan-favorite villains, and what readers can expect from his take on the Man of Steel.

Readers can pick up Joshua Williamson's new Superman series illustrated by Jamal Campbell when it debuts in 2023.
