Being a super-hero is expensive. It's expensive mentally, physically, and financially. It takes an immense physical toll on the individual who chooses to become one, and depending on the type of hero they are as well as how they operate, it can take a huge toll on their wallet as well. That is why Batman is such a successful hero. He's a rich playboy, who when being Bruce Wayne, gets to enjoy whatever joyfully morsel life has to offer, but also has the technology and money to hide his Batman persona.

But Bruce Wayne is not the only rich man in the super-hero community. Sure he's one of the most famous, but not the only one. There are plenty of heroes, in both the DC and Marvel universe, with more than enough cash to throw around at their super-hero careers. Some took a step farther and invested everything into their careers. Others only use the money to keep themselves afloat a sea of stress. Which is quite understandable.

Much Oliver Queen, Danny Rand also ended in a distant land after an accident where they both trained to become their hero personas; Queen on an island, Rand in the Mystical K'un-Lun.

8 Tony Stark/Iron Man

Adrien Veidt Watchmen

The former Watchmen member and destroyer of New York City is, as many know or expect, extremely rich. He was loosely inspired by Lex Luthor but is mostly an amalgamation of different super-hero traits/tropes.

Aquaman Namor DC Marvel Comics
