Superhero shows are the best option for those who are visual and don't like to read comic books. Granted, comic books are fun, and they have some eye-catching pages in them, but some people like to watch a live version of them, and superhero TV shows make that possible.

Superhero shows have definitely become more popular these past few years, and that's because they run on imagination. Having superpowers is awesome, but some superheroes don't resonate with the fans, and that is because the competition has gotten fierce, and great shows like Arrow, WandaVision, and Loki have set the bar so high.

10 Love: Arrow Inspires Everyone To Become Heroes

Arrow: Laurel Lance and Felicity Smoak Deserved Better Than Oliver Queen

Oliver Queen is arguably the most handsome hero you will ever see. Granted, he doesn't have any magical powers, but he more than makes up for it with his amazing and jaw-dropping stunts. Arrow is about Oliver, a playboy millionaire who finds himself on a deserted island and goes through hell to stay alive.

After Oliver returns home, he is entirely a different person, and he becomes the best hero that has ever existed in Starling City. Oliver Queen can defeat the deadliest villains in the city, but everything becomes complicated when he finds out his best friend's father was a member of the League of Assassins. Now that's a shocking twist.

9 Hate: The Cape Lacked Originality

Vincent Farraday in his superhero costume in The Cape show

The Cape is about Vince Faraday, an honest cop that witnesses a gruesome murder by a vicious villain called Chess. After this traumatic incident, Faraday decides to leave the police force and joins ARK, a private security firm owned by billionaire entrepreneur Peter Fleming.

Faraday's partner, Marty Voyt, sets him up and delivers him to Chess. Then, Faraday gets abducted by The Carnival of Crime, and the leader of this group offers to teach Faraday how to use an exceptional cape to simulate superhuman abilities. The base of the story lacks any originality, and it is a bit boring. So it was no surprise when NBC announced that the series finale of The Cape was only going to be available on NBC's website.

8 Love: The Flash, "The Fastest Man Alive" Who Fight Crimes

The Flash TV Poster

Barry Allen is the star character in The Flash series, and everyone seems to love him. The best thing is that if you have no clue about Speed Force or the multiverse but love to learn about them, this show is the one for you.

The Flash is about Barry Allen who was a simple forensic scientist but on one stormy night, a flash of lightning hits him, and he goes into a coma for months. When he wakes up, he's no longer an ordinary human but a super-fast superhero. From that moment, Barry and his friends at STAR Labs go up against new metahumans and all sorts of creatures, making the show even more exciting.

7 Hate: Inhumans Was Not Worth The Budget

Why Marvel's Inhumans Failure Actually Works in the X-Men's Favor

Inhumans was supposed to be a feature film in the MCU, but it eventually turned into a television series on ABC. The story of Inhumans revolves around Black Bolt and other members of the Inhuman Royal Family.

The last hope for Inhumans was the comic fans, but even they didn't enjoy the show and were relieved when it got canceled. The only way that the show could have survived was if the TV fans were behind it. But not showing the brilliant backstory of Inhumans affected the show's popularity. If the audience doesn't feel the connection, then the show will definitely hit rock bottom very quickly, which it did.

6 Love: Loki Was Long Overdue

Before he got his own show, Loki was always a secondary character compared to Thor, but the fans are really loving the new series that is all about the God of Mischief's new adventures after the events of Avengers: Endgame.

The show follows up on the story when Loki messed up the timeline by stealing the Tesseract in Avengers: Endgame and his efforts to amend the damages of his act. Loki is recruited by Mobius M. Mobius at the mysterious Time Variance Authority to travel through history, but unexpected twists take the show to a whole new level. Loki is the perfect version of a real live version of a comic book, and everyone is just raving about it.

5 Hate: Batwoman Is Not The Best Hero

Ruby Rose as Batwoman

Highly anticipated by fans of the Arrowverse, Batwoman did not live up to the expectations of viewers in the first season. The series started off being about Kate Kane as she used Batman's suit and his tech to keep the streets of Gotham safe, but the stories and acting drove fans away.

Ruby Rose, who played Kate Kane, was replaced by Javicia Leslie, playing Ryan Wilder after Rose quit the show due to a series of arguments between her and the producers. While some fans have found that Batwoman's second season is better than the first, the damage may already be too much for some to give the show a second chance.

4 Love: WandaVision, Best Classic Sitcom

Vision And Wanda In WandaVision

WandaVision is about Marvel couple Wanda Maximoff and Vision that start their newlywed life in the town of Westview, New Jersey. Anyone who's seen this adorable couple has definitely grown attached to them. Their love is so pure and heartwarming and the fans love to see more of them.

This Disney+ series has become very popular for many reasons, one of which is that it dives into serious issues while following a beautiful storyline. If you've seen the Marvel movies, then you are familiar with these two loveable characters and you will definitely enjoy WandaVision.

3 Hate: Krypton Was Supposed To Be About Superman

krypton tv show

When there's talk about Krypton, Superman pops up in everyone's mind, but not in this show. One of the weakest points of Krypton is that Superman doesn't seem to be around, and the premise of the show is about Superman's grandfather, Seg-El.

Also, a good superhero show is all about balance. That means both heroes and villains must be involved in the plot of the series, but in Krypton, there are just no good vicious villains. The only villains that barely appeared in the show are Lex Luthor and General Zod. It's obvious that if the creators had put a little extra effort into the details, Superman could have aired for years.

2 Love: Doom Patrol, A Group Of Shunned Heroes With A Tragic Background

Doom Patrol

For those who haven't heard about the best superhero show on TV, Doom Patrol is currently the number one superhero show that is completely different from all others, and that is because of its unusual characters.

Because of the awful things that have happened to these superheroes, they all have superhuman abilities and now have come together to save the world, which is absolutely heartwarming. Every character in Doom Patrol has a twisted side and a dark history, but the best thing about the show is all the mysterious and magical places like the drag club that takes in lost souls. Sounds scary but yet thrilling, right?

1 Hate: Iron Fist Doesn't Hold A Candle To Arrow

Iron Fist

The main character in Iron Fist is Danny Rand, who has a hidden magical power called the Iron Fist. After being gone for 15 years, he returns home to reclaim his family company from Harold Meachum. Iron Fist was the fourth and final Netflix series before Marvel's The Defenders, and it wasn't what fans expected. After the first season of Iron Fist was released, the negative comments from the critics started to pile up. But the show's viewership was not that bad, so it was renewed for a second season.

The quality of the show may have improved in season two, but Netflix canceled it anyway. If anyone is looking to see a show about a man who comes back from the dead and starts to fight the big bad villains, then Arrow is the best choice.
