Season two of "Supergirl" has seen Alex Danvers (Chyler Leigh) make a major discovery about herself: she's gay, and she's kinda head over heels for Maggie Sawyer (Floriana Lima). The first half of season two dealt with Alex's realization and the will they/won't they of her interactions with Maggie. But now that the two are officially official, the real sparks can start to fly.

As Entertainment Weekly revealed, that will definitely be the case in the upcoming Valentine's Day episode. The CW superhero drama will celebrate the holiday with an Alex and Maggie storyline that will put the new couple to the test.

As EW revealed, the couple will have opposing views on Valentine's Day. While Alex is excited about spending the holiday with a girlfriend for the first time, Maggie doesn't celebrate the holiday. This leads to their first major fight, but a photo debuted at EW teases that Maggie will make it up to her somehow (check out the corsage on Alex's wrist).

The Valentine's Day episode of "Supergirl" will air on Monday, February 13.

Starring Melissa Benoist as the Girl of Steel, "Supergirl" airs Mondays at 8 pm ET/PT on The CW. The series also stars David Harewood as Martian Manhunter, Mehcad Brooks as Jimmy Olsen, Chyler Leigh as Alex Danvers and Jeremy Jordan as Winn Schott and features appearances by Calista Flockhart's Cat Grant as well as Tyler Hoechlin's Superman.
