SPOILER WARNING: This article contains major spoilers for "Welcome Back, Kara," the latest episode of Supergirl Season 6.

As Supergirl's journey comes to an end, so too does Dreamer's -- at least for now. Heading into the show's final episodes, Nia will find herself on an adventure of her own, which will help her realize the full potential of her powers. According to Supergirl star Nicole Maines, Nia will be nigh unstoppable by the time the show's sixth and final season reaches its conclusion.

Speaking to CBR, Maines promised Supergirl's final season will bring Dreamer "full circle." She teased the "full scope" of Nia's powers and previewed the journey she will undertake to fully understand them. She rallied Dreamer's fans, calling on them to "say so" if they want to see more of the character in the Arrowverse moving forward. She also recalled her last day on set, shared her hopes and dreams for Nia's future and more.

CBR: At the end of the episode, Nia wakes up from a nightmare about a certain character we met in the Phantom Zone. How worried should we be that Nyxly seems to be haunting her dreams?

Nicole Maines: Well, we know Nia is in a very vulnerable state right now, and we all know Nyxly to be an expert manipulator. So she's very vulnerable. She's very desperate. And now Nyxly has uninterrupted access to her. So that'll be fun.

As we move forward, Nia really seems to be embarking on her own adventure. Since we're entering the final stretch of episodes, what about this story do you think made it the right endcap for the character?

Without getting too spoilery, the path we are beginning to take with Nia is going to take her to the end of her character arc on the show. This is kind of the final journey for Nia. This is a Nia's big movie, pretty much. [laughs] This is going to be the beginning of what's going to bring her full circle.

What is one moment or scene from the back half of Season 6 that you cannot wait for fans to see?

Oh, gosh, we have some fun Dreamer stuff coming up. I mean, I'm really excited for this journey Nia is about to go on and I'm really excited for people to see some of what we get to do, because we really get more into her Dream powers and what they really mean. We're kind of going to start to see really the full scope of what those may look like. So we're, I think, going to start to understand more like, "Oh wow, this is the potential of Nia's power. She really, really is a powerhouse."

I think her struggle right now is not for lack of power. If anything, she has too much for her own good. She just needs to understand what to do with it and when she does, then I think she will be truly unstoppable.

What would you like to say to fans of the character as we prepare to say goodbye to her, too?

Nothing is ever truly gone. We have a character that has been so groundbreaking and so beloved by people who aren't even in the community. She is just a superhero to love. Just express that love, and if you want to see more of Nia, say so! I would always love to do more with her. This is a character that's so close to my heart. I'm so protective of her. I care about her so much.

I want to see Dreamer at full capacity just as much as everybody else does. Once she understands her powers, and once she finally fully masters those, I mean, honestly, I think she's the most powerful character in the Arrowverse. If you look at the scope of her abilities and what she can do, it's not about what she can't do; it's about, once she masters it, who's going to be able to stop her?

What are the odds we could see Nia return in the Arrowverse in some capacity once Supergirl is over and done? Would you be interested in a Dreamer solo series, and what would be your dream story arc for her?

I mean, of course, if they asked if I wanted to do a Dreamer series, I'd say yes. That, for me, would be the ideal.

But I think Dreamer is so great because, listen, having someone who can see the future is a valuable addition to any super team. I can't think of any superhero or crimefighter who would not benefit from maybe being able to see what's around the corner and having someone who has crazy awesome Oneiric blasts and shields and lassos and everything else Nia does -- summoning cougars, astral project, dream walk... Yeah, I think she has a skill set that makes a pretty invaluable asset.

So I think she could really, realistically, go anywhere, because the way her powers work is it would make sense for her to go anywhere. I would love if Nia just rolls up to Gotham on a pink Razor scooter and is like, "You guys, I just had a vision. You are not going to believe this shit!"

As you posted on social media, you've recently wrapped your role on the series. Can you tell me a little about your last day on set?

Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I thought I was okay. I thought I was okay all day, and then they wrapped me, and I very quickly wasn't okay. They were all really, really sweet, and everyone was there, and we were clapping and just we all have our moment hugs and tears and I just said thank you to everybody. I was honest; I was just like, "This was my first big show, and it was just an honor and a pleasure to have the cast and crew that I did to figure this out with." So we're in the middle of all this, I'm full open-mouth sobbing, and Jesse [Rath] comes up and he says, "I actually wanted another take..." It was great. He was joking.

Supergirl airs Tuesdays at 9 pm ET/PT on The CW.
