The CW's Supergirl is about to give an official costume to a long-standing cast member.RELATED: Supergirl: First Look At Jesse Rath As Brainiac 5On the television series' own Twitter account, the network debuted an official poster teasing Mon-El's Legion of Super-Heroes look. With his very own Legion flight ring in tow, we can see that Chris Wood's Mon-El will be sporting a costume that is much different than his comic book counterpart, albeit one that fits in with the aesthetic established on the series.

In the comics, Mon-El is known to wear a costume similar to Superman's, but with the colors inverted. His outfit is predominated by red with a blue cape, and a much smaller "S" crest on the left side of his chest. For the television series, it looks like Mon-El will be wearing a suit heavy on the dark blues, with only hints of red and gold on the chest portion. However, from what little we can see of the costume, it looks like the superhero will sport the Kryptonian House of El logo in a bigger fashion -- or at least the outline of it.
