Over the course of Supergirl Season 2, Chris Wood's Daxamite Prince Mon-El followed Kara's path to heroism. Though he has helped fight against a number of foes and even introduced himself as "The Other Superman," Mon El has thus-far lacked the most important piece of superhero equipment: his own costume. Will that change in the near future? Executive producer Andrew Kreisberg seems to think so.

When TVLine asked this directly, Kreisberg was slightly reticent in his answer. “I can’t say right now," he shared, "But I wouldn’t be surprised if one day you got to see that."

Though Kriesberg's answer is non-committal, it strongly suggests that Supergirl fans won't have to wait long to see Mon-El suit up. There is still plenty of reason to hope that, should he stick to the heroic path ahead, he might end up with his own costume at some point in Supergirl Season 3.

Starring Melissa Benoist as the Girl of Steel, “Supergirl” airs Mondays at 8 pm ET/PT on The CW. The series also stars Mehcad Brooks as Jimmy Olsen, Chyler Leigh as Alex Danvers, Jeremy Jordan as Winn Schott, David Harewood as Martian Manhunter and Chris Wood as Mon-El.
