In a new poster for The CW's Supergirl, the Legion of Super-Heroes' own Mon-El rocks a red-and-blue costume. The Daxamite's new duds are a serious change from his earlier costume, which was more of a blue leather jacket than a true superhero ensemble. Now, it looks like he'll wear a more comics-accurate costume in the coming episodes.

Though this is the first official look at Mon-El's new costume, it has appeared in the show's other promotional materials. It originally debuted in a promo for the CW’s midseason lineup, before appearing in a slew of photos from "In Search of Lost Time," next week's episode. It's safe to say we'll see Mon-El in his new getup sooner rather than later.

Supergirl's Mon-El rocks his comics-accurate costume in an official poster.

In the poster, Mon-El wears his traditional red-and-blue military-inspired costume, complete with epaulets and flowing cape. The center of the costume has a triangular imprint that mimics the House of El’s symbol as it appears on Supergirl and Superman’s costumes.

Airing Mondays at 8 p.m. on The CW, Supergirl stars Melissa Benoist as the Girl of Steel, David Harewood as Martian Manhunter, Mehcad Brooks as Jimmy Olsen, Chyler Leigh as Alex Danvers and Jeremy Jordan as Winn Schott, with appearances by Calista Flockhart as Cat Grant and Tyler Hoechlin as Superman.
