As grim as Monday was for presidential candidates who didn't perform well in the Iowa Caucus, it also wasn't particularly kind to several network television series, including "Lucifer," "Supergirl" and "The X-Files."

According to The Hollywood Reporter, CBS's "Supergirl" slipped three-tenths of a point in the all-important adults 18-49 demo, to a 1.5 rating. Fox's "Lucifer," meanwhile, slipped half a point in its second week to a 1.9 rating.

However, "The X-Files" took the hardest hit: After clocking a 44-percent rise in the key demo with its first Monday live-plus-three showing, Fox's miniseries revival fell sixth-tenths of a point to a 2.6 rating.

"The X-Files" airs Mondays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Fox, followed at 9 p.m. by "Lucifer." "Supergirl" airs Mondays at 8 p.m. on CBS.
