As National City is gripped by a new wave of attacks in Season 5 of Supergirl, Kara turns to an unlikely source to help learn who is responsible for them.

The CW has released the plot synopsis for the season's sixth episode, titled "Confidence Women," that has Kara speak with one of the season's new villains imprisoned by the DEO. Meanwhile, Lena Luthor and Andrea Roja will examine their complicated history in the wake of Lena selling CatCo to Andrea in the Season 5 premiere.

PIECE TOGETHER THE PAST – While a new villain is under arrest at the DEO, Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) uses him to try and understand who is responsible for the recent attacks. Meanwhile, Andrea (Julie Gonzalo) and Lena (Katie McGrath) think back on their tumultuous past. Shannon Kohli directed the episode written by Dana Horgan & Nicki Holcomb (#506). Supergirl Season 5 has dealt heavily with betrayals and trust issues between its main characters, as Kara's friendship with Lena became estranged after she discovered Kara's true identity in the Season 4 finale. Meanwhile, the Martian Manhunter's long-lost brother has reappeared on Earth, leading the normally stoic superhero to begin questioning everything.
