Supergirl Faces Trouble In CW's Supervillain Supercut

With its season two premiere less than two months away, there's going to be a lot of forthcoming news, updates, and trailers surrounding "Supergirl" -- especially because the show's second season marks its debut on the CW. "Supergirl's" new network unveiled a new teaser focused heavily on the hero's rogues gallery, using footage pulled from the show's inaugural season on CBS. In what's essentially a supercut of all the show's villains from the first season, we see Kara facing down baddies both big and small, from minor goons to heavy hitters like Indigo.

While it would nice to get some brand-new footage, it's also cool to see so many of Supergirl's nemeses gathered in one place -- to the tune of Neon Jungle's "Trouble," no less. Also, the multiple antagonists from Kara's past have got us thinking about those who she'll face in her future. Katie McGrath has already been confirmed to star as Lena Luthor, and recent video footage from the set reveals Superman (Tyler Hoechlin) fighting someone who looks an awful lot like Metallo. Nothing's been confirmed either way on that second point, but we're betting that the green glow in the middle of his opponent's chest is a kryptonite heart. Just check out the footage. Who do you think that is?
