DC Comics veteran Jim Lee chose to celebrate the Supergirl TV series' upcoming finale with a sketch that features both the Girl of Steel and one of her old enemies.Shared on Lee's Twitter, the sketch sees Supergirl and the giant trash monster from the mid-season premiere, "Welcome Back, Kara," with lightning in the background. "Celebrating the remaining episodes of Supergirl, season 6 as we approach the two hour finale on November 9th on [The CW]!" Lee posted in an earlier tweet featuring a mirror flip of the sketch. "Aside from the inspired casting and stories full of heart and emotion, I’m such a fan of the Supergirl TV costume that I incorporated that version into the [AT&T Discovery District] lobby."RELATED: Supergirl: How Nyxly and Kara’s Connection is Like Harry and Voldemort’s

Lee also revealed that his sketch was done in advance of the upcoming DC FanDome, which he said has "a lovely panel focusing on the terrific cast." A later tweet stated that he realized he made a mistake with the aforementioned mirror flip and posted the correct file, saying that it "makes a difference."

Details surrounding Supergirl's series finale have been kept under wraps, but star Chyler Leigh recently said that the episode's script is "definitely a cryer," later adding that it was "a beautiful script." "I'm really really very happy with how it ended, especially for Alex [Danvers, Leigh's character on the series] and all of her relationships," she continued. "Her relationship with Kelly, her relationship with Kara, and her relationship with J'onn. It’s really powerful."

It was also recently confirmed that James Olsen, Winn Schott and Mon-El will return for the finale. The final season will see a romance between villains Lex Luthor and Nyxly, of which viewers saw the beginning in this week's episode, "Hope for Tomorrow."

Supergirl airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. on The CW.
