Supergirl's Chyler Leigh became the Girl of Steel in "Alex in Wonderland," the most recent episode of The CW series. It also featured Alex Danvers donning her own super-suit to become "SuperAlex" after using Obsidian's virtual reality technology.

Leigh explained the true message SuperAlex learned in the episode, and how love is the most powerful thing in the Arrowverse.

"I’m so proud of this episode. So proud of Alex. Despite becoming #SuperAlex in this episode, the greatest lesson she learns isn’t about having strength, it’s about love," Leigh posted on her Instagram account. "And that’s the powerful thing of all. I hope you all enjoy @supergirlcw tonight."

Supergirl recently halted production on Season 5 due to the ongoing coronavirus (COVID-19). It joins the other Arrowverse shows in taking precautionary measures against the disease that has pushed back release dates of upcoming films. So far, there have been no updates on when production will start again.

Airing Sundays at 9 p.m. ET/PT on The CW, Supergirl stars Melissa Benoist as Kara Danvers, David Harewood as Martian Manhunter and Chyler Leigh as Alex Danvers.
