Mean Girls star Jonathan Bennett has revealed that he will appear on the current season of Supergirl in the upcoming episode “Stand and Deliver.”
According to TV Line, the actor remembered as Aaron Samuels, Regina George’s ex who told Lindsay Lohan’s Cady Heron what day it was, will portray Quentin, a "wide-eyed government attaché who is grateful when Supergirl saves his life. However, when he shows his true colors by attending an anti-alien rally, Supergirl aims to prove to Quentin that not all aliens are bad."
Bennett is the current host of the Lindsay Lohan’s Beach Club aftershow on MTV, as well as Food Network’s Cake Wars. Bennett also starred in All My Children, Cheaper by the Dozen 2 and Veronica Mars, as well as numerous other roles in film and television.
The latest season of Supergirl has been dealing with the rising threat of anti-alien sentiments resulting in radical military groups called the Children of Liberty, who repeatedly clash with Supergirl and her allies. Superman’s cousin has had her hands full dealing with alien threats like Agent Liberty (Sam Witwer) and the resourceful Manchester Black (David Ajala).
Most recently dealing with the news that her cousin Clark and his now pregnant wife Lois will be moving to the Kryptonian Argo City for the foreseeable future, Supergirl will need all the victories she can get, especially with the appearance of Lena’s infamous brother Lex Luthor (John Cryer) on the horizon.
Airing Sundays at 8 pm ET/PT on The CW, Supergirl stars Melissa Benoist as Kara Danvers, David Harewood as Martian Manhunter, Mehcad Brooks as Jimmy Olsen and Chyler Leigh as Alex Danvers.
