Supergirl Battles A Super Hangover In New Clip

Following last week's episode, the CW aired a scene for the next installment in "Supergirl" -- an episode titled "Changing." That scene teased the upcoming arrival of the major Superman villain Parasite, who we previously saw in a promo for the episode. Now the CW has released a new clip, one that potentially reveals another side of the episode.

We already know that the Guardian will appear in the episode thanks to a few promo photos, but the plot synopsis (seen below) also hints that the aforementioned Parasite will drain Supergirl of her power. This new scene takes place in the DEO and sees Kara Zor-El a little worse for wear after a night out on the town with fellow Kryptonian Mon-El. Is her hangover really a sign of Parasite's power-sucking nature? Watch and decide for yourself.

THE GUARDIAN DEBUTS IN NATIONAL CITY – The Guardian debuts to lend a hand after a parasite alien drains Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) of her power. Mon-El (Chris Wood) considers a less than desirable new career which then leads him to contemplate his motives. Alex (Chyler Leigh) struggles with a new reality. Andrew Kreisberg and Caitlin Parris wrote the script based on the story by Greg Beranti. The episode was directed by Larry Teng.

Starring Melissa Benoist as the Girl of Steel, "Supergirl" airs Mondays at 8 pm ET/PT on The CW. The series also stars David Harewood as Martian Manhunter, Mehcad Brooks as Jimmy Olsen, Chyler Leigh as Alex Danvers and Jeremy Jordan as Winn Schott and features appearances by Calista Flockhart's Cat Grant as well as Tyler Hoechlin's Superman.
