As casting for CBS' "Supergirl" pilot continues, ComicBookMovie has posted a number of audition videos featuring actors reading for the parts of Jimmy Olsen, Supergirl and Supergirl's foster sister Alex. While there's no reason to believe that any of the actors featured in these tapes have landed a role in the pilot, the lines they are reading could be from the pilot script and could therefore provide insight into the CBS series' status quo. If these audition tapes are pulling from the pilot script, then they reveal that Superman will have a role in the series. It's worth keeping in mind that these scenes could have been created specifically for the audition process and may not come from the pilot.

The first three audition videos feature actors trying out for the part of James Olsen, a character described in a leaked description as smart, worldly, attractive and in his late 20s or early 30s. Olsen will be the object of Kara's affection and, as implied in these audition videos, the guy that tells her all about Superman.

The other side of the Olsen scene plays out in the lone Kara/Supergirl audition posted to CBM.

Lastly, there's one audition video for Alex Danvers, Supergirl's foster sister. The scene depicts Supergirl and her sister's first heated conversation following an averted catastrophe. The scene reveals that Alex may not approve of Kara's superhero actions.

If you can't get enough of these tapes, SpoilerTV has a few more as well as the transcribed dialogue from the audition scenes.
