The title Superboy has refereed to a number of different characters over the years. At various points, it has been a codename for Clark Kent himself, his teenaged clone Conner and Jon Kent, the young son of Clark and Lois. During the recent events of Brian Michael Bendis' run on the Superman and Young Justice, Jon Kent has been aged up into a teenager and Conner has been restored to his original teen form.
With two different versions of Superboy running around in the DC Universe, it appears that at least one of them is getting renamed to differentiate the pair. During an AMA with Bendis on Reddit, the writer was asked whether he has any plans to introduce the two characters together.

Bendis revealed "Jon and Conner will meet and work that out. On panel. PROMISE." He added that "yes, there will be some rebranding and some new looks. Change is good!" He didn't reveal which character in particular will receive the new name or redesign, but it does mean that there should be a little less confusion moving forward for the young heroes.
Brian Michael Bendis and Steve Epting's Action Comics #1008 goes on sale February 27, while Young Justice #3 with Viktor Bogdanovic and Patrick Gleason hits stands March 6.
