Super Smash Bros Ultimate Tweak Adds Deadpool to the Game

As fans around the world eagerly await for Nintendo to announce its first full wave of DLC characters for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, one industrious fan as added an off-kilter fighter to the game themselves.

Posted online by YouTube user DemonSlayerX8, an unauthorized user mod of the popular Nintendo fighting game adds the Merc with a Mouth himself, Deadpool, to the fight. Test footage of Deadpool taking on Simon Belmont from the Castlevania franchise has been shared to show off the unlikely addition.

In actuality, the modded Deadpool addition is a reskin of Solid Snake from the Metal Gear franchise, employing the same weapons-based moveset as the iconic special forces commando, complete with hand grenades, rocket launchers, and martial arts moves.

So far, Smash Bros. designer Masahiro Sakurai has revealed that a Piranha Plant from the Super Mario Bros. franchise and Joker from the Persona franchise will eventually be added to the roster as DLC along with other unannounced fighters to the title.
