The introduction of the Marvel Cinematic Universe's format has changed the cinematic world behind the screen into something all new. Many movie-goers are constantly thinking of how other films could introduce their own cinematic universe right along with big movie companies thinking of the same in order to compete with Marvel.

10 Mario Will Bring The Cinematic Universe Together
Many fans have immediately came up with a little gag theory that the legendary videogame star, Mario, will appear in different upcoming videogame films to recruit the various gaming characters to something that they have dubbed the "Super Smash Bros. Initiative."
As Marvel Cinematic Universe fans know, this is the same way the MCU started coming together with Nick Fury appearing in various Marvel films at the end of the credits to recruit its heroes to the Avengers Initiative.
9 Mewtwo Will Be Able To Sense Other Universes
Many fans of Pokémon know that Mewtwo is one of the strongest psychic-type Pokémon there is. This was even shown in the first live-action Pokémon film, Pokémon: Detective Pikachu.

Sonic's rings are an obvious piece of the potential Super Smash Bros. movie gathering. Much like in the original Sonic the Hedgehog game, these rings are portals to other dimensions in the hit Sonic The Hedgehog movie.

7 Someone Will Invite Pikachu & Sonic
One hilarious theory is a part of the belief that Detective Pikachu and Sonic the Hedgehog will receive updated versions with all-new endings featuring a familiar overall-wearing plumber.
As the theory goes, Mario himself will appear in these ending and will ask the two personally for help, causing them to each join Smash. The rest of the characters will follow suit, joining in different ways.
6 Phase One Will Begin With Pikachu
Many theorists have said that the entire series will begin not with Mario in his upcoming Super Mario Bros. film from Illumination, but with Pikachu in Detective Pikachu.

Many say that there is potential for Sonic to cause an even greater boom than someone like the Flash, attracting the attention of those from different worlds and even universes. This would play a large hand in bringing together the Smashers, solidifying Sonic as one of the most important characters of the crossover, despite him being a SEGA character.
2 The Actual Film Would Introduce Samus, Kirby, & Star Fox
While some theorists believe it would be a bad move to not introduce each character with their own film, others believe some should be introduced Black Widow and Hawkeye style with appearances in the actual Super Smash Bros. film and in other Nintendo films.
