"Suicide Squad's" Leto Teases Beginning Of Joker Transformation

After signing up to play the iconic role of Joker in David Ayer's upcoming "Suicide Squad" film, Jared Leto has used social media to document his gradual transformation into the Clown Prince of Crime. What started on Twitter with a crude mockup of Joker's makeup quickly led to a series of Instagram photos revealing his platinum blonde hairstyle. The actor then had his eyebrows shaved off and began teasing what could be his Joker voice in concerts.

The latest Instagram pic shows Leto staring straight ahead, his roots showing and his eyebrows slowly growing back, with the caption, "Transformation begins." It's likely that this is Leto's first day shooting on "Suicide Squad" as Just Jared reported that the actor arrived in Toronto on Sunday night.

"Suicide Squad" opens on August 5, 2016.

Transformation begins.
