James Gunn's The Suicide Squad continues to grow.

According to Deadline, the upcoming DC Extended Universe film has added Pitch Perfect 2 alum Flula Borg in a mystery role. Although few details about Borg's part are available, the report claims he will act as a love interest for one of the core characters, though it is unclear which character that will be.

In addition to Pitch Perfect 2, Borg -- a German actor, DJ and comedian -- has appeared in Curb Your Enthusiasm, The Tick, Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Road Chip and Silicon Valley. His previous voice acting credits include Tangled: The Series, Archer, Ralph Breaks the InternetThe Boss Baby: Back in Business and Ferdinand. His voice will also be heard in next year's Trolls World Tour.

Written and directed by James Gunn, The Suicide Squad is set to hit theaters on Aug. 6, 2021. Several cast members from 2016's Suicide Squad will reprise their roles, including Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, Viola Davis as Amanda Waller, Jai Courtney as Captain Boomerang and Joel Kinnaman as Rick Flagg. Newcomers Idris Elba, David Dastmalchian and Daniela Melchior will also star.
