A new clip of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League features King Shark decimating enemies while using a gigantic minigun.

The footage, as seen in the recently revealed DC FanDome teaser trailer, sees the titular Suicide Squad in the middle of an explosive firefight. While Harley Quinn, Captain Boomerang and Deadshot are all present in the sequence, King Shark takes center stage, firing at something off-screen with his minigun. It's currently unknown whether the featured clip, seen at the nine-second mark, is a pre-rendered cinematic or a segment of gameplay. What exactly the Squad is firing remains unclear as a large explosion rocks the screen, distorting the audience's view.

While King Shark is clearly using the largest weapon in the clip, perhaps hinting at his role as a tanky damage-dealer in Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, his teammates have guns of their own. Deadshot appears to be using a rifle, Captain Boomerang brandishes a shotgun and Harley Quinn takes potshots with what appears to be an automatic pistol with an extended magazine.

Developer Rocksteady Studios announced Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League during DC FanDome 2020 but little is known about the game. The action-adventure shooter will see the Squad attempt to take down a brain-washed Justice League as Brainiac invades Earth. The game is set in an open-world styled after metropolis and takes place in the already established Batman: Arkham universe. A full voice cast has yet to be announced but Rocksteady has confirmed that Tara Strong will play Harley Quinn while King Shark is voiced by professional wrestler Samoa Joe.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice isn't the only game expected at DC FanDome 2021. Gotham Knights, from Warner Bros. Games Montréal, will see the Bat-Family attempt to reclaim their gritty city in the wake of Batman's death. The game will feature Nightwing, Batgirl, Robin and Red Hood as playable characters, offering solo or two-person co-operative play.

In the build-up to DC FanDome, Warner Bros. revealed new key art for both Gotham Knights and Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice LeagueBoth images provide little in terms of new information but hint at the games' tones as Gotham Knights illustrates the neon-drenched streets of the city while Suicide Squad seemingly pays homage to The Boys.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is expected to launch in 2022 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and PC.
