The latest piece of key art for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice features the team of anti-heroes seemingly paying homage to one of The Boys' most iconic covers.

Revealed by developer Rocksteady Studios ahead of the next DC Fandome event, the art features Harley Quinn, Captain Boomerang, King Shark and Deadshot looming over the camera. All four characters have retained their designs, seen in the game's first reveal trailer, as they pose in a manner reminiscent of the cover of The Boys #1. Further parallels can be drawn to N.W.A's debut studio album Straight Outta Compton.

The image, as imposing as it is, doesn't reveal much in the way of new details surrounding Rocksteady's latest third-person action-adventure shooter. Announced in 2020, the studio confirmed that the game will revolve around the titular Suicide Squad attempting to take down the Justice League. The original cinematic trailer suggests that Superman and his world-saving colleagues have been taken over by what is assumed to be Brainiac, as indicated by the gigantic skull-shaped ship. Amanda Waller's voice is also overheard in the trailer, leading many fans to believe that she will be providing the game's quests and objectives.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League will serve as a sequel to Rocksteady's Batman: Arkham trilogy, but will not include the Dark Knight as a playable character. Players will be able to explore the game's open-world environment of Metropolis either solo, swapping at will between the four characters, or have three friends take control of the Squad. Rocksteady has yet to reveal much in the way of gameplay, but the cinematic trailer suggests an emphasis on gunplay and unique traversal and combat abilities.
