Jared Leto's run as Joker may have been short-lived, but this picture will haunt us forever.
David Ayer, the writer and director of Suicide Squad, shared this picture of the actor testing one of many looks he sported in the movie. This particular photo has the Joker's silver teeth, but it might be the maniacal, open-mouthed grin that is giving it its traumatic impact.
This could be one of the last official looks we get of Leto's Joker, as the actor will not appear in the DC Extended Universe's Birds of Prey or The Suicide Squad. Both of those films will feature characters from Ayer's film, but the Joker will not be one of them. He also missed out on the Joker origin movie, with the titular role going to Joaquin Phoenix.
