In September's Suicide Squad #9, by Tom Taylor and Bruno Redondo, DC will kill off longtime villain-turned-antihero Floyd Lawton, aka Deadshot.

The issue will see Task Force X attempt to take down Ted Kord, but in order to do so, "the world’s deadliest assassin will have to do the one thing he’s never done for the cause: die!"
