Sean Gunn has been a frequent collaborator with his brother, James Gunn, on many of his past projects, particularly the Guardians of the Galaxy films. Directed by James, Sean plays both the former Ravager Kraglin as well as serving as the on-set performer for Rocket Raccoon. But even Sean Gunn isn't sure if he'll be making the transition to DC along with his brother for The Suicide Squad.

Sean told ComicBook.com he doesn't know if he'll get to make an appearance in the upcoming Suicide Squad film. He went on to say he would be more than willing to make an appearance in the film, but would also be understanding if there's no part for him in the movie.

"You know, I have no idea," Gunn admitted about the entire situation. "I'm always willing to do anything [James] needs me to do. I'm also very, very respectful of the creative process, from the point of view of the people who are writing and coming up with the story. I've been in the business long enough to know that story is king... In order for the movie to be good, the story has to be great, and it's hard to make a great story if you're thinking, 'Hmm, I have to work this person in there somewhere."

Kraglin (and Sean Gunn) are expected to return for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, which will also be directed by James Gunn. Written and directed by James Gunn, The Suicide Squad is set to hit theaters on August 6, 2021.
