Filming on Gavin O'Connor's Suicide Squad 2 will reportedly take place in the United Kingdom sometime this fall.

According to Omega Underground, filming is likely to take place at the major studio space owned by Warner Bros. in Leavesden, England, where filming on Wonder Woman 2 is also expected to kick off this summer. The first Suicide Squad filmed at Pinewood Toronto Studios in Toronto, Canada.

Production on Suicide Squad 2 was previously reported to begin in October of this year, having been pushed back six months due to scheduling conflicts with stars Will Smith (Ang Lee's Gemini Man) and Margot Robbie (Quentin Tarantino's Once Upon A Time In Hollywood). Suicide Squad 2 will be the third DCEU feature film to begin filming this year, with Shazam! having begun principal photography on Feb. 5 and Patty Jenkins’ Wonder Woman sequel set to roll cameras over the summer.

Suicide Squad 2 is expected to see the return of Joel Kinnaman as Rick Flagg, Will Smith as Deadshot, Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, Jared Leto as The Joker and Viola Davis as Amanda Waller. A release date for the film has yet to be announced.
