With 54 playable characters currently in Genshin Impact's roster, Hoyoverse's keen eye for creating gorgeous designs remains unquestioned. Each of the characters' outfits reflect the real-world locations their regions were inspired by while adhering to each of their unique personality quirks.
Some Genshin Impact characters, however, stand out as more stylish than the rest. Even though their outfits don't really have anything to do with their in-game performance, some fans wish for certain characters because they just really appreciate their style. It's even better when a character's signature weapon looks perfect with the rest of their look.
10 Xinyan Has A Punk Rock Aesthetic
Xinyan fell in love with rock music after it came to Liyue from Fontaine. She's even built up a small fanbase and performs around Liyue from time to time.
Her fashion reflects her taste in music. Xinyan's outfit, Ardent Soul, takes elements from other Liyue outfits and combines them with the edginess of punk rock attire by adding spikes and ripped-up fishnets throughout the look. The outfit looks even cooler during her idle animations when she breaks out her guitar and plays a passionate solo.
9 Tighnari's Look Is Edgy, But Still Reflects Dendro
Tighnari is a brilliant forest watcher who prefers working alone in the forest than dealing with the Akademiya's politics. Most people look at Tighnari, see his massive ears, and assume he's a sweetheart who'd never hurt a fly. However, he's one of Genshin Impact's toughest characters.
His edgy and unique sense of fashion reflects that. Some fans even compared him to Billie Eilish when his drip marketing came out because of his hairstyle and color. Tighnari's outfit, Woodland Song, reflects Dendro by showcasing lots of flowers as well as the colors of wood and trees in the forest.
8 Rosaria's Gothic Style Is An Untraditional Take On A Nun's Outfit
Rosaria is one of Mondstadt's most beloved characters. Unlike the other fanatical members of the Church of Favonius, Rosaria doesn't live and breathe for worshipping Barbatos. She may work for the Church, but she's not like the other nuns. Rosaria takes on more of a vigilante role throughout Mondstadt, hoping to protect the city by stalking around at night.
Both permutations of Rosaria's outfit, "Executor's Thorns" and "To The Church's Free Spirit," reflect her edginess and ice-cold disposition. The first one showcases her edginess in a more risque way, while the other is more modest and looks like traditional gothic clothes.
7 Yae Miko's Shrine Maiden Uniform Reflects The Sacred Sakura
Yae Miko was one of Genshin Impact's most anticipated characters because people fell in love with her during the Inazuma archon quest. Not only did people love her sarcastic personality, but they also loved her sense of fashion and needed her in their team compilations.
Yae Miko's outfit, "Miko's Instruction," is her shrine maiden uniform. It's luxurious enough to make her stand out as the Guuji of the Grand Narukami Shrine that towers over Inazuma. The Sacred Sakura from the Shrine is also embroidered on her outfit.
6 Raiden Shogun's Kimono Is Electrifying
Raiden Shogun is the vessel for the Electro Archon, Ei. She locked herself away for years in the Plane of Euthymia to cement her ideal vision of "eternity," all the while throwing Inazuma into chaos in the meantime. However, she looked incredible while doing so.
Primarily adhering to a purple color palette, Raiden Shogun's look perfectly reflects her status as the Electro Archon. Her outfit, "Narukami's Law," is stylish, elegant, and elevated enough that people turn heads whenever she casually strolls around Inazuma. It's a dignified kimono that proves Raiden Shogun is always in charge.
5 Zhongli's Dark Attire Is Suited For His Profession At The Funeral Parlor
Zhongli is the vessel for the Geo Archon, Morax. After faking his own death because he was done with being a god, Zhongli started working at the Wangsheng Funeral Parlor. His outfit is more elegant and sleek than most other townspeople in Liyue.
Though Zhongli is always short on Mora, he definitely doesn't dress like he forgot his wallet. Zhongli's outfit, "Hermit Of Mortal Life," is a flashy suit that would turn heads anywhere. It's dark, but not a boring black arrangement that'd make him look like a generic funeral parlor employee. It has gold throughout to hint at his status as the Geo Archon.
4 Ningguang's Style Is Luxurious
Ningguang is the Tianquan of the Liyue Qixing. She also owns the Jade Chamber. Ningguang is a ruthless businesswoman who, despite her kindness across Liyue, is vicious when trying to secure a deal. Ningguang carries herself with an elevated disposition, and very few people would cross her.
Ningguang actually has two outfits. Her regular one, "Gold Leaf and Pearly Jade" is an elegant gold ensemble with impressive embroidery throughout. The second one, "Orchid's Evening Gown," is a skin players can get from the Character Outfit Shop. It's equally as elegant but has a dark purple and blue color scheme.
3 Kokomi's Outfit Is Aesthetically Pleasing
Sangomomiya Kokomi is the Divine Preistess of Watatsumi Island. She's responsible for leading Watatsumi's forces and is often overworked because of all of her duties. She wants to make sure that everyone in Watastumi Island is happy and safe amid all of Inazuma's chaos.
Kokomi's "Sparkling Coralbone" outfit is a pastel ensemble with many pearls, seashells, and other oceanic motifs. Like most of Watatsumi Island, Kokomi's pastel look muted palette is aesthetically pleasing and dreamy.
2 Scaramouche's Hat Is His Signature Piece
In both permutations of Scaramouche's design, he's always been one stylish puppet. Before he erased his existence from Irminsul, Scaramouche had a dark ensemble characterized by dark reds and purples, reflective of Electro. However, since becoming the Wanderer, he's taken to blue hues.
Scaramouche has always rocked a massive hat that characterizes his outfit in both versions. His outfit, "A Wrathful Void," states that his massive hat is practical for protection from rain. However, it can't protect him from the storm raging within his soul from his past.
1 Kaeya's Outfit Is Equally Suave & Edgy
Kaeya is the Knights of Favonius' Cavalry Captain. He's an eccentric socialite who, despite his many quirks, is highly respected in Mondstadt. He's widely regarded as one of Genshin Impact's most beloved husbandos and fans always fawn over him on social media.
His outfit is one of the best in Genshin Impact. Equally suave and edgy while still reflecting his Cryo vision, it's very hard to beat Kaeya's attire. His outfit, "Icy Featherflight," is a fashionable suit with a v-cut down his shirt and adorned with tons of fur.
