An artist recreated one of the most iconic scenes from Howl's Moving Castle through the mascot animals of Chainsaw Man and Jujutsu Kaisen in this charming fan art.Twitter artist dmsco1803 shared their illustrated rendition of the Studio Ghibli film, which features Pochita (Chainsaw Man) in the role of Sophie Hatter and Satonyan (Jujutsu Kaisen) – the fan-made cat persona of Satoru Gojo – as the handsome wizard Howl Jenkins Pendragon. The scene in question is when Howl teaches Sophie how to walk on air during a chase sequence early on in the movie. Not only do the adorable animal characters fit their respective roles very well, but the illustration itself looks and feels like an actual screenshot from Howl's Moving Castle. This illustration isn't the only Studio Ghibli crossover fan art that dmsco1803 has done. The artist previously put the two characters together in the 2001 movie Spirited Away and added them (and others) to a scene from the 1994 movie Pom Poko. Anime Inspires Art

Chainsaw Man and Jujutsu Kaisen are two of the hottest anime properties right now, with both aimed at older demographics. The juxtaposition between these two mature-leaning anime series and the whimsical wonder of Howl's Moving Castle make for an entertaining crossover. Other fan artists have also done the same. An artist who goes by the Twitter handle of SmileGHorse drew a delightful Chainsaw Man x Scooby-Doo crossover that won the approval of Cartoon Network. Another fan remade the Chainsaw Man opening in the lovable world of Animal Crossing.

Before the first opening theme song for Chainsaw Man was released, a fan made one of their very own for the series with the second opening theme song from Jujutsu Kaisen. The impressive result swaps the cast of Jujutsu Kaisen for Chainsaw Man's, while also altering certain scenes to reflect the story of the latter. "Vivid Vice" by Who-ya performs the second anime opening for Jujutsu Kaisen. The actual opening theme song for Chainsaw Man, "KICK BACK" by Kenshi Yonezu, is filled with numerous movie references from directors like Quentin Tarantino and the Coen brothers (Joel Daniel Coen and Ethan Jesse Coen).
