Star Wars is home to powerful fighters and mystics capable of tapping into the mysterious Force, which gives them the ability to do incredible things. While Star Wars: The Phantom Menace used the idea of "midichlorians" to explain just how someone could tap into the Force, there's a lot more to consider when thinking about that mystical power. There are even some species that seem to be more attuned and able to tap into the Force than others. In this new video, we're going to go into the strongest of those species and explain just who they are and how strong they really are.

As a franchise, Star Wars features a lot of supplementary material that fleshes out the galaxy far, far away. Minor background characters are often later given names and backstories, with some even becoming unlikely fan favorites. However, the franchise has left what species Yoda, Grogu and Yaddle are a mystery for decades. Still, based on what we've seen from the species so far, they're one of the most attuned to the Force, making them incredibly formidable.

Beginning in 1977 with A New Hope, the Star Wars franchise is one of the most successful in the world, with the series' core films grossing billions worldwide. There have been a number of video games, comics, books and other forms of media based in the Star Wars universe, though not all are canon following Disney's acquisition of the property in 2012.
