A fan of Capcom's popular fighting franchise Street Fighter took the game's characters and made them look human through specialized AI, generating some bizarre portraits.Chronicled on Twitter by user @Siberian_644, Street Fighter V's roster was run through StyleClip, artificial intelligence that's officially described as "a method to manipulate images using a driving text." While some of the game's more recognizable characters were blessed with rather authentic human faces, others didn't fare as well. Based on the shared images, characters that don't feature any kind of headwear with clear, unblocked faces tend to look more solid; Guile, Chun-Li, Laura and a few others look like real people, but not everyone fared as well...Related: Magic: The Gathering Recruits Street Fighter for a Secret Lair Team-Up

Sagat, Ibuki, Juri and Zangrief don't exit StyleClip looking like the best versions of themselves. Special mention must be made for M. Bison who looks nothing like the sinister villain Street Fighter fans have come to love and hate in equal measure. Most of the more bizarre renders feature some kind of unique facial accessory, while Zangrief's contorted expression likely didn't meld well with the artificial intelligence.

While @Siberian_644 shared a healthy spread of Street Fighter characters, certain faces were too complex for the AI. Akuma, Blanka, Oro and Dhalsim were all, unfortunately, rejected by StyleClip.

Street Fighter is one of the longest-running and most beloved fighting game franchises of all time, starting life as an arcade game in 1987. The latest entry in the series, Street Fighter V, was released in 2016 and has maintained a steady, committed fanbase despite its rocky launch. Capcom has supported the Street Fighter V with several major post-launch updates, taking the game's original roster of 16 fighters to 30 over the course of five years.

Street Fighter V is available on PlayStation 4 and PC.
