The newest Street Fighter game, Street Fighter 6, is due to release at the beginning of June. There is a lot for Street Fighter fans and fighting game fans, in general, to get excited about until then, with a playable demo just releasing days ago and a companion prequel comic releasing in early May. As such, fans might be wondering just what the differences between the game's various editions are, along with any preorder bonuses the game might have at specific stores.

Fans are particularly excited about this new game because of a new feature where they can have English or Japanese language commentators commenting on their matches in both color or play-by-play variety, giving a new level of tournament-like realism and excitement to the game. With a base roster of eighteen characters including icons like Chun-Li, Ryu, and Ken, along with several brand-new characters and quite a bit of downloadable content already promised, there's a lot to be excited about. It's definitely easy to understand why fans would be eager to get their preorders in, so here's a bit of information on how they can pick the best version of the game for themselves.

What to Know About Each Edition of Street Fighter 6

There are four different editions of the game that will be available for fans and newcomers to fighting games. The first of these is, of course, the Standard Edition of the game, which only includes the full version of the base game. The Deluxe Edition of the game includes a Year 1 Character Pass, which means that players who get this version will automatically get the four additional characters that will be released this year, along with color variations for these characters' original outfits, and 4,200 Drive Tickets.

The Ultimate Edition comes with the Year 1 Ultimate Pass. This pass not only includes the four additional characters with color variations three to ten for their original outfit but also includes two other outfits with ten color variations each for these characters. Not only that, but players who purchase the Ultimate Edition will also receive two additional stages and 7,700 Drive Tickets. These Drive Tickets given in both the Deluxe and Ultimate Editions of the game are a form of in-game currency that players can typically farm by doing missions and clearing achievements. They can be used in the Hub Goods Shop to buy cosmetics and clothing for custom characters.

Fans should note that this version is only for consoles and not PCs.

Preordering the Xbox or PC versions will grant the player no extra bonuses. While most of the brick-and-mortar stores are also not offering bonuses, Walmart is including the first issue of the prequel comic with exclusive cover art.
