UPDATE: Netflix has officially announced a fourth season for Stranger Things.

While it's only been a few months since the end of Stranger Things Season 3, we might already have a clue about what's to come in Season 4.

On Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, the official Stranger Things pages changed their profile photo to a darkened clock. Fans will recognize this clock as one that appears to be located in the Upside Down.

The time on the clock, which is set to five minutes to midnight, has a strong echo of the Doomsday Clock from the Cold War, an event that weighed heavily in Season 3 of the Netflix series.

Given this cryptic tease, fans are spinning their own theories as to what this new profile picture could mean. Already, some are wondering if we could get news about the new season this Halloween, while others theorize time travel could play a part in Season 4.

Created by the Duffer Brothers, Stranger Things stars Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Finn Wolfhard, Millie Bobby Brown, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Noah Schnapp, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, Joe Keery, Priah Ferguson, Cary Elwes, Jake Busey and Maya Thurman-Hawke. All three seasons are currently available for streaming on Netflix.
