The clip clocks in at just under two minutes and focuses on the Hawkins Community Pool in the show's fictional Indiana town. More specifically, it highlights Dacre Montgomery's Billy Hargrove as he takes his duties on as a lifeguard and catches some wandering eyes along the way.
As Carla Buono's Karen Wheeler casts an eye on Billy as he compliments her on her new swimsuit, which is sure to cause tension as Billy ran afoul of her son Mike (Finn Wolfhard) and his friends last season as they fought the Mind Flayer.
While the clip is light-hearted summer moment, this is shaping up to be a dark season of Stranger Things, as the group will be fractured as they move past their old-school adolescent adventures and into older teenage territory. Billy's sister, Max (Sadie Sink), is now part of Mike's crew too, so the stage is set for drama to unfold as new threats from the Upside Down return to haunt the townsfolk in addition to these teens going at each other's throats.
Created by the Duffer Brothers, Stranger Things stars Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Finn Wolfhard, Millie Bobby Brown, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Noah Schnapp, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, Joe Keery, Priah Ferguson, Cary Elwes, Jake Busey and Maya Thurman-Hawke. Season 3 will debut on Netflix on July 4.
