The eagerly anticipated third season of Netflix's Stranger Things is just weeks away and the final trailer for the upcoming season has been released.

As the summer of 1985 falls on Hawkins, Indiana, with excursions to the local shopping mall and town carnival, it becomes clear that something evil is festering nearby, even after Eleven sealed the rift to the Upside Down in the Season 2 finale. More worrying, it appears that a recent theory about the returning teenage bully Billy in Season 3 may be coming to pass.

The childhood friends begin to realize that a monster may have remained in Hawkins, looking for a new host body to bond with, sensed by Eleven and Will by their previous experiences in the Upside Down.

With a new monster on the loose and sinister, shadowy figures menacing the kids with their own mysterious agenda, the summer of '85 isn't looking like one the town of Hawkins will ever forget.
