As showcased yesterday, the children-led cast of “Stranger Things” had graced the cover of Entertainment Weekly, and now it looks like the magazine has released more images from the upcoming second season for us to fawn over.
Over the course of the week, Entertainment Weekly will continue to update fans with more information regarding the second season of the show, but today, they gave us 8 new images to look at while we wait. The images (found below) all showcase various characters in various scenarios.
The first image is one we’ve seen previously, with Dustin (Gaten Matarazzo), Mike (Finn Wolfhard), Lucas (Caleb McLaughlin), and Will (Noah Schnapp) all dressed up as Ghostbusters with pillow cases in hand. With the show premiering on Halloween, it’s safe to assume that the crew are trick-or-treating. The second image brings us two fan favorite characters, Jonathan Byers (played by Charlie Heaton) and Nancy Wheeler (Natalia Dyer) as they both look back in shock/horror at something from the safety of a car. What these two are doing together will remain a mystery until the show releases, most likely.
While some of the images give us something to ask and are a good tease, there are also some pictures included in the batch of images that don’t detail much. Winona Ryder’s Joyce Byers is seen entering her car in one, and Will Byers likely walking into school is another one. To round out the nine images are shots of David Harbour as Chief Jim Hopper looking at something with his flashlight, a shot of the Duffer Brothers (creators of the show) on set, and an Egg waffle with a bite taken out of it.
For those looking to get an early look at everything in the magazine, it will be available on stands tomorrow. For everyone else, make sure to stay tuned for any updates. “Stranger Things” season two drops on October 31, 2017.
