When the second season of Stranger Things hits Netflix later this month, the youngsters in the fictional town of Hawkins, Indiana will need all the help they can get in their monster-fighting endeavors. A new teaser clip showcases the return of one of the key members in that battle.

Courtesy of MCM Comic Con, the clip shows Eleven using her telekinesis powers to tear open a rift from inside the otherworldly Upside-Down dimension to return to the real world. Given that she still has short hair and the rift appears to be in the school hallway where Eleven disappeared after killing the Demogorgon in the Season 1, it seems that this scene is set moments after the events of the finale.

It isn't much of a spoiler, as previous clips showed the young girl partnering with her old friends to take on the new wave of monstrous threats. Will Byers, whom she helped rescue from the Upside-Down, is expected to play a big role this year, as he still seems to have a connection to the dark realm. Meanwhile, fans are waiting to see how big a role Eleven will play as the new season, which seems set to explore her powers and origins as a science experiment in the MKUltra program.
