Millie Bobby Brown gave Stranger Things fans a Halloween treat when she recapped Season 1 of the Netflix series via a cheeky rap session on The Tonight Show.
At the behest of host Jimmy Fallon, Brown made it easy for those who wanted to catch up before taking in the events of Hawkins, Indiana, in the show's second season. "I have to do a recap of Season 1 so people can watch Season 2 and know what they're talking about," she told Fallon before the show's band, the Roots, dropped a beat.
"Let's go back to Indiana, circa Nineteen Eighty-Three / Just four boys in the basement chillin' playin' D&D / There was Lucas there was Willy Will and Dustin, there was Mike / But one night Will goes missing while he’s riding on his bike -- yikes!" she summarized.
Brown then proceeded to quickly rattle off other significant moments from Season 1, ranging from her character Eleven's adventure in the Upside Down, to the attacks from the Demogorgon, to the controversial issue of #JusticeForBarb.
This isn't the first time Brown unleashed her rap skills on Fallon's show. In September 2016, while addressing the debut season with the rest of the cast, she recited a near-perfect rendition of Nicki Minaj's verse from Kanye West's "Monster."
Now streaming on Netflix, Stranger Things Season 2 stars Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Finn Wolfhard, Millie Bobby Brown, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, Cara Buono, Matthew Modine, Noah Schnapp, Joe Keery, Sadie Sink and Dacre Montgomery.
