Just after the arrival of Stranger Things Season 3 on Netflix, Dark Horse has announced a new Stranger Things graphic novel. The comic, titled Zombie Boys, will be written by Greg Pak and illustrated by Valeria Favoccia.

Like the previous Stranger Things comics published by Dark Horse, the graphic novel will be a standalone tale set in the world of the television series. The story will be set after the first season of the show and depict the main characters trying to adjust to normal school life after encountering the Demogorgon and the Upside Down.

The start of the school year isn't going to be smooth for Mike, Lucas, Dustin and Will after their horrific supernatural experiences. Tensions start to rise in the group and, to complicate matters further, a new student named Joey Kim shows up. Joey has aspirations to make a horror film about a local legend in Hawkins, but soon discovers that his new friends are local legends themselves.

Stranger Things: Zombie Boys is written by Greg Pak, illustrated by Valeria Favoccia, colored by Dan Jackson and lettered by Nate Piekos of Blambot, with cover art by Ron Chan. The 72-page graphic novel is coming out Feb. 19, 2020.
